Red Flags to Watch For

Be extremely cautious if anyone:

  • Asks you to transfer money before meeting in person or verifying their identity
  • Requests payment through wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or gift cards
  • Pressures you to act quickly or make immediate decisions
  • Offers unrealistic wages or opportunities that seem too good to be true
  • Asks for your banking details, passwords, or sensitive personal information
  • Communicates only through email or messaging without phone or video calls
  • Claims to be from JobMatch support and asks for payment or account credentials
  • Requests advance payment for training, equipment, or certification fees
